Kyle Long - Financial Planning Assistant
I am a person who is interested in the widest range of activities: soccer, golf, weightlifting, visiting new towns or state parks, and on and on. However, I feel as if one thing is the “glue” in my life: people. Whether I am hanging out with my hometown friends or making memories with a complete stranger, I thoroughly enjoy making the most of every day and meeting people along the way. I try to make every weekend different, but I always try to get a good round of golf in!
I was born and raised in Phillipsburg, NJ, and am a graduate of Phillipsburg High School. After graduating high school, I studied at Widener University, in Chester, PA, where I double majored in Financial Planning and Accounting, while also being an NCAA soccer player. I have played soccer for almost 20 years, as well as a plethora of other sports along the way. Being a college athlete was a grind, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything as I gained amazing experiences and lifelong friends.
As for my work history, I’ve held numerous jobs in almost every industry ranging from being a bartender to a referee. When I was in college, I knew I wanted to work as a financial advisor and geared my curriculum towards becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® — something I am currently working on achieving. After graduating from Widener in 2024, I landed a job as a Junior Advisor at Wealthspring Financial Partners. I find it extremely fulfilling to help people reach their goals and become financially stress-free. One reason I love working in this industry so much is that I am fortunate enough to work with people from all walks of life! Whether someone is a carpenter, teacher, police officer, doctor, or any job you can name, it is always so gratifying to further a relationship and help clients confidently meet their goals.
After a year of working at my previous job and obtaining industry licenses, I wanted to find something closer to home and with a long-term future. That’s where I found Milestone Financial! I am ecstatic to be a part of the team here, and I hope to help as many clients as possible. That same focus on connection and care extends into my personal life as well — I’m very family oriented. My mom is a physical therapist and my dad is a Chief Financial Officer. Of course, I couldn’t possibly forget about my two dogs, Elsa and Rafiki, named after the Disney characters! We also have three cats as well (my mom would be upset if I didn’t mention them).
