Audrey Rake - Client Services Associate
I was born in Chicago, IL but spent most of my childhood in Havertown, PA, where I grew up learning piano from my grandmother and participating in every musical theatre production I could. I graduated from West Chester University with a BA in English Writings and a BM in Music Composition, and realized quickly that a career in writing or music might not be as sustainable as I had hoped. Right out of college I officially joined the working world at Whole Foods Market. From working the customer service desk to becoming a front-end supervisor, I learned the meaning of empathetic service and being able to support a large team.
I have always been someone who prefers to take control of my own finances, I love to help others, and I know I love to learn, so after a couple years in grocery I dove headfirst into the world of finance. I passed my series 7 and 63 exams and began my financial journey at Vanguard as a retail investments representative. After spending three years in this role, I gained a much better understanding of what really mattered to me: serving others. I truly value being able to work with a close-knit group that shares a goal of helping clients achieve financial success, with an added personal touch.
I currently live in Pottstown, PA with my partner Josh, and our three cats: Benny, Paul, and our “foster-fail” Digby. In my free time I love reading, writing poetry, taking nature walks, and spending time with my partner and cats. Otherwise I’m probably busy whipping up a baked good in the kitchen or visiting nearby family and friends here in Eastern PA!
